The mighty Sugar Creek is normally not all that impressive. On a good day you can probably take a canoe down most of it but you can be sure that you will have to get out and carry it part of the way. It is pretty common for the creek to flood its banks especially in some parts like the Zuercher Rd. bridge, but I have never seen it like this. I went down 4 Roads and 3 of them were under water at the bridges. Of course as a photographer and a resident of Wayne County I had to document the trip.

Facing South on Zuercher Rd. by the feed mill. This area floods ofter but I have never seen it this bad

Heading South on Wenger rd. This is from the top of the hill. As you can see there is a lot of water.

On the 94 bridge. The road was open but the water was up to at least the bottom of this railroad bridge. Not sure how high but it is pretty high.
