I recently purchase the Nik Complete collection of plugins for Lightroom. Initially I wanted Nik Silver Effects Pro and Nik Define, but when I looked at pricing I realized that buying the complete collection was the way to go. The two plugins that I was looking for are awesome like I thought, but I had not had a chance to play with the other pieces of the collection. I finally got the chance to play with Nik HDR effects pro the other night and my first impression out of the box was WOW. It is easy to use, intuitive, and just plain works. I am not one for technical reviews as you can see but it looked like it worked for me. I had a 3 image series threw it in the program, selected a preset, and this is what I ended up with. I am sure that as I get the chance to play with the program more I will find there is much more I can do but first impressions are I am impressed.
